The New Owner of Secret Dogs Business
A new chapter, built on experience, passion and a love of dogs
You may know me from Molly’s K9 Training, but I’m excited to introduce myself as the new owner of Secret Dogs Business.

My name is Molly, and I’m a fully qualified dog trainer with over seven years of experience helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships through understanding, communication and positive training.
​
My journey has included running my own business, Molly’s K9 Training, where I’ve worked with puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs through Puppy School, group training classes and private in-home sessions. Over the years, I’ve helped owners navigate everything from the foundations of puppy training to everyday challenges and more complex behavioural concerns.
​
I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside Alan Sheppard from Secret Dogs Business for many years, learning from his experience and being involved in running Puppy School, group dog training and private one on one dog training consultations. Taking over Secret Dogs Business feels like a natural next step in my journey, and I’m proud to continue the work Alan has built over many years.

As I bring my experience from Molly’s K9 Training into this new chapter, my commitment remains the same: to provide practical, compassionate and positive training that helps owners better understand their dogs and enjoy life together.

I hold a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training through the National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF) and believe that successful training is about much more than teaching commands. It’s about building trust, developing clear communication and helping dogs feel confident and comfortable in the world around them.

I’m looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to Secret Dogs Business and continuing to support our local community with professional, personalised training for dogs of all ages, breeds and backgrounds.

Owner and Dog Trainer – Secret Dogs Business
A Lifelong Connection With Dogs
Growing up on a farm, Molly was surrounded by animals from an early age. She welcomed strays, cared for working dogs and developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour long before she began formal training. Today, she shares her home with Baxter, a playful Shih Tzu, and Billy, a rescue terrier who has shaped much of her real-world experience.
Her career began with dog walking, then expanded into doggy daycare, fostering and dog sitting. In 2015, she transitioned into full-time dog training, where her passion and skills truly aligned.​
